They don’t lie and tell you that you need treatment when you don’t. Thanks to the young ladies that work there and, especially Jordan, I feel like a huge part of my life has been given back to me. I highly recommend them for whatever you are going through. Good people there.

Took my wife’s uncle to get assessed and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude. He’s an addict but also has Parkinson’s so it’s hard for him to write and my sister in law tried signing him in and she stated he can do that himself. So we left 5 minutes later she called back and said she didn’t think he was appropriate for their services, so we turned the vehicle around to go back, once we walked in we were there to help him fill out the paperwork and she rudely said you can’t help him. A gentleman come out to get him for his assessment, we attempted to sit and wait just in case he needed our address and again rudely said you can’t sit here. I advised the lady if she didn’t like her job that she should find somewhere else to work. Regardless of someone’s addiction or medical issues If they need help try to help or get the person the resources where they can get help.

Sojourner was the push I needed to properly deal with my addictive behaviors. The clinicians I had at sojourner we're the most professional and courteous staff I have ever encountered. I just want to personally thank Sojourner for all they have done.

So, I came to sojourner's back in August in 2019 and this place saved me live literally! I was so nervous about going because I would have been in a recovery house with 8 or 9 girls, and also detoxing. I was so uncomfortable at first. When I got there I had 2 friends automatically and learned that every girl there was in the same boat as me and some may have been worse. We all did our full 45 days, but did lose a couple who came in. People need to realize that drugs are not what they used to be and the dealers are putting Fentanyl in everything litterally!! I look back now after being sober now for 3 years and I owe it all to Sojourners! They saved my life! I wouldn't be here today writing this if they hadn't. So, if your reading this and it hits home to you don't think about coming DO IT!! You fight for a better you every day because your worth it!! Being sober feels amazing and I don't have to worry everyday for a fix. I can now wake up, drink my coffee and start my day without worrying.
